Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a woody vine from the Amazon rainforest, named for the curved thorns along its stem. Its inner bark has been used by Indigenous communities in Peru and the surrounding region for centuries, and it is now one of the better-known South American botanicals worldwide.
Our Cat's Claw Extract 10:1 concentrates the dried inner bark tenfold into a fine powder. The flavour is woody and mildly bitter, so it works well in capsules, in a herbal tea blend, or stirred into a stronger-tasting drink.
